Pre-Christmas
Celebrated some birthdays and and early Christmas gift exchange! Had dinner at a wonderful pizza restaurant. The pizza was a huge 21'' Pizza, washed down the wonderful meal with a tasty glass of a lime margarita. So thankful to have these friends though!
BKK
A short get away from Singapore with my family to BKK. Well it was more of a shopping trip, although we did get bored of shopping in the middle of the trip and went on a tour instead. Got loads of good apparel there and took plenty of dope pictures! :)
Illumi Run
So I did, I went for The Illumi Run. Got to admit, it didn't live up to my expectations. It was more of an illumi walk than a run. It was too dark along the course, you could easily get separated from your group. I would honestly prefer Color run to this. On the brighter side, I ran with awesome company! :)

Start of School
Time to bid farewell to the dear holidays! The moment has come for us to wake up early in the morning and attend lessons once again. What other better way to start the first monday of school with the shades of a the piano keys right? #MonochromeMonday Well not everyone is wearing their clothes in the monochrome shade, but oh well! haha
Later in the week, i enjoyed an expensive dinner at poppies. Spaghetti Carbonara along with a Magaritta. It was a little expensive, but the food there was good.
And then we have a birthday celebration!
Soon after, it was halloween! ASC's halloween haunted house! My very first subcom project! It was a rather unique experience, being a scarer. The fake blood was pretty disgusting though, it was made up of some kind of caramel honey. A total chore to wash off!

Finally, we had CCN day, campus care network. A day where classes would set up booths all over the applied science school concourse and try to sell anything they want, within reason of course. I designed a poster for my class, that was selling cupcakes and other form of snacks.
Oh yeah! And i got my starbucks gold card! :D

5D4N Bali Trip
Day one
Hardly got any sleep the previous night. I ended up meeting 2 of my friends around my area for a late supper and went back soon after to catch up on some sleep before our morning flight. About an hour or two of sleep later, I woke up, eccentric like never before, took a quick shower and made my way to the airport. Met up with the dudes at the airport and we went for quick smoke. Grabbed a bottle of Jack Daniels and Chivas as well as a bottle of wine before we boarded the plane.
We flew in Garuda airlines, it was a two hour ride from Singapore to Bali. To pass the time, I was watching Yes Man on board. Too bad the plane reached Bali before I could finish the movie. Upon arrival in Bali, i was stunned by the magnificent aerial view of Bali.
We landed in Bali, wow. Still in complete disbelief that we were actually in Bali since our plan actually started off as a joke that became reality. Anyway, we collected our baggage and left the airport, to be greeted by our driver, Hamdan. He instructed us to wait by the side of the airport as he went to get his van which was parked outside the airport. And so we did, we waited at the corner and had our very first cigarette in Bali, a cigarette from Singapore.
Soon after, our driver arrived and we got onto the van. He was a really friendly person, exchanging small talk as he drove us to the villa. Upon arrival at the villa, we were shocked at how beautiful it looked.
We spent the first day shopping around Kuta square, and eating good food. Oh, and also stocking up for the night!
Finally, we returned to the villa after the long day of adventuring around Bali. The night was young as we took a dip in the pool as we drank beer and liquor. Ironically, we the amount of alcohol that we thought was too much when we bought was almost gone after the first night.
Day two
We made our way towards telaga waja to water raft. The drive there was long, about 2 hours. We stopped for a few smoke breaks along the way but spent most of the trip sleeping. Finally we arrived at the area. It was surrounded by plantations, like something we would see out of our social studies textbook back in Singapore.
Anyway, we received our paddles, helmet and life jacket and were briefed on what to do. Stepping onto the raft, the river water sipped in. As it embraced my feet, i felt the chill of the water. It was almost like it was refrigerated. Anyway, we started rafting, going though several obstacles down a 21km river. It was estimated to be at least 4 hours till we reach the finish. There were several stops along the way for us to rest and take some pictures.
Alright so that was the end of our water rafting activity, we had to take that 2 hour drive back to Kuta once again. We arrived back at our Villa, changed up and proceeded to explore Kuta on foot. Went to get a cup of starbucks which was incredibly cheap there. And we proceeded to Kuta beach to watch the sunset with my cup of coffee and cigarettes. The sunset was beautiful, it left a nice warm glow as it transcended beyond the horizon, leaving a shade of a orange-violet hue in the sky.
After all that, we had our dinner at the dog and dragon grill. And continued to shop for souvenirs along the shops along kuta.
Day three
Can't believe we're already half way though the trip.. Time is passing too damn fast. We hired a driver to take us to Water Bom Bali, a water theme park. It was quite funny, we almost got scammed as the driver took us to a tourist booth that sold water bom tickets. But the booth was secluded and tucked in the middle of no where. We decided not to buy the tickets.
Alright water bom was hella fun! All the slides were thrilling, and most importantly we had cheap churros! :D
We returned to the villa, and decided to rent motorbikes. (Kinda regret doing that) We took turns to ride around the villa and we were all doing fine.. Unfortunately for me, I didn't turn in time and ended up scraping my leg against a curb. Leaving quite a serious abrasion on my leg. Well I don't think its serious, but my friends disagree with me..
Anyway we ended up riding out for a buffet that only cost $5.. And venturing out on the road like that was hella scary. The traffic was preposterous! There were no traffic lights..
Well it was after the buffet when i had my close to death experience. As i attempted to push my bike out a narrow ally, I felt pressured by the numerous bikers that were waiting impatiently behind me so they could get out of the ally. I decided that accelerating would help me get out faster. Unknowingly, i had turned it by too much and the bike zoomed forward. At the spur of the moment, I had forgotten what to do and i tried to pull the bike back, thinking it was a bicycle. I ended up hitting another bike in the front and i was flung off the bike. An oncoming bike was about to hit me, but thank god he hit the brakes. Although the force from the brakes caused the bike to knock me hard enough for my helmet to fly off. Leaving the helmet cracked. As we returned to the villa, we had a serious talk about it, but i was still in shock. The tension was broken soon after they started to make jokes about it.
Day four
Water games, parasailing, snorkling and banana boating. Too bad I couldn't participate in the games due to the injury on my leg..
After all that we met up with our driver Hamdan once again and he took us to visit beaches out of our area.
We arrived at a cliff that had us considering if we should jump off. We tested the safety of the jump by tossing a pebble down (I dont even fucking know why we thought of that) As we saw the pebble hit the water, we deemed it safe and one of my friends took the first leap of faith. He survived, so a few of them decided to jump too! I couldn't jump because of my injury.. :/
And then we had dinner at a seafood restaurant along the beach, satiating our crave for seafood as we admired the beautiful sunset.
In the night we sat by the beach and closed our eyes as we listened to the sound of the waves. It was the most peaceful sound I have ever heard. It was so damn relaxing to listen to. I sat there, listening to it, and felt all my problems lift of me.
Dinner was over, we spent our night doing some last minute shopping for souvenirs. After all that, Hamdan took us back to our villa to have our last night in Bali. :(

Day five
Our last damn day in Bali.. Every was sad, but happy to still be alive after all the ridiculous stunts we pulled throughout the trip.
We had our last breakfast and toasted with wine to bid farewell to the beautiful Villa.
